Position: Community Support Worker

Description: Do you know what dementia is? Have you cared for someone with dementia or looked after a family member or friend? Guideposts is looking to recruit people in the above areas to support people who are living at home with dementia. You will need to be good at communication, patient, understanding and most importantly have a positive attitude to people. If you are, then we would like to hear from you.
Free full training is provided to NVQ Level. CRB checks, mileage and travel time (proportionate) are paid for. Personal protective equipment is supplied. Part and full time hours available, to meet the needs of our Clients, Care Support Workers will need to cover evenings and weekends.

Rates of pay: Daytime £6.65, Evenings £7.22, Weekends £8.67, Bank holidays double time and mileage 30p per mile (travel time paid)There is a 20p enhancement on all rates if/when NVQ qualified.
